I spent two months working as a woodwork specialist at a children's summer camp in Pennsylvania, USA. Over the summer I taught 500 children between the ages of 7-16 how to use different machines and woodworking techniques. Some of these included the Bandsaw, Pillar Drill, hand tools and many more. It was an incredible experience, which required great knowledge of carpentry and safety. Working in such an intense environment was challenging but rewarding and allowed my skills and confidence to develop enormously. Wood prep was a key part of this job, which required excellent time management and planning.
