Problem solving design is at the heart of my third year dissertation project. This project explores how through research, analysis, development, and following a thorough design process, a successful and impactful product was designed and created to resolve a problem. Increasing numbers of children with special educational needs are being taught in mainstream classrooms without quality, affordable specialist products. This project explores how design can problem solve and have an impact on vulnerable children.
